Ironclad Epoxy Install Process
Preparation
When installing epoxy to your floor, preparation is a key component to making it last. At ironclad, We take pride in our preparation.
To Start, we grind, etch, Vacuum and then fill any cracks in your concrete surface with our two-part solution.
Application
Next, we apply a base coat of epoxy. We offer many colors to choose from as seen below.
The last step in the application phase is to completely cover the floor for the full flake look which also provides durable protection from UV damage, drops, or tires.
Sealing
The final step takes place the next day when we apply our high-performance polyaspartic top coat. This solvent-based product bonds to the epoxy and is a weather resistant shield that makes your flooring last for decades.
